Yup. I'll add many people in a village don't necessarily like each other. They may even have serious beef or recurring (sometimes generations) issues between different individuals or families. But they still show up for each other regardless. They still play their role in upholding the village life / ecosystem.
Not everyone has to be friends or even get along in order to understand that we must be there for each other in our times of need, that we have a fundamental responsibility to the communal harmony and survival.
