But what about if you *didn't* assimilate some of the kind of values this system presses to begin with? As that's what I've been struggling with - awfully, especially given all sorts of advices like these because it's like "what the fuck do I do with this that I cannot relate to?! and yet I need to become what the world actually needs somehow / what these things are gesturing toward". E.g. "A system seeded by separability trains nervous systems to survive through compression, speed, performance, and self-abandonment, and then names those adaptations maturity, strength, or love." I've never ever really "performed with speed and 'self abandonment'" at that level because I ended up in a system of circumstances where I was able to go without doing so for most of my life - I avoided school as a kid and teen so never learned such values, the family had atypical religion, and a fair bit of intellectual freedom, but under circumstances of lack of money and living entirely on government welfare or the parents at best having only very pittance jobs and in small towns. So if there was nothing to "push to a rupture" in that sense, what then? But also, there were other kinds of traumatizing or painful events exacted upon the developing someone at younger ages like from 11-16 and against a background of psych. disorders that are/were sources of pain in and of themselves which have made things feel more like a "long term battle with a rocky level of mental pain". Never held a steady job my whole life. No real firmly held self concept was formed early, either. And now I am even less likely to give a fuck about "speed" or "compression" or "performance" (whether that means "metrics" or "fakery" - in the latter case I detest it the MOST, and funnily enough, always had in some regards). What is this kind of situation called? What is the remedy? How do these maps apply or not apply? (Also, there is a characteristic strong absence of "mystic flash" of the kind some people talk about.) I've been desperate for answers for this for a long time because it "doesn't seem to so easily fit these maps" and that makes me wonder "where I am with anything" and worse - what might I be held back from or by that I can't see? That's the real scary bit. Could being *not* so "fit" to "the system", ironically, make things *worse* off despite seeming that "not absorbing so many such values so strong" would seem to sound like an advantage? Especially what if there just isn't enough to make a true "rupture"? Then what?

(And this: "Almost everything cruel that the world says about people who fall apart is built on the assumption that rupture is moral. It is not." it's worth pointing out I didn't really even know what it says until recently from reading these pages, and if I heard it before I probably thought it was dumb.)

But also, because I DO see where OTHER parts of this may apply. Even if that that specific kind of conditioning was at least dampened, it feels that these processes still resulted in some similar results: scarcity (due to Poverty), unworthiness (due to absorbing moral judgments or messaging), looping, "addicted to trauma", and several more. In other words, parts of the map hold, but not all of it, and where the parts hold, they can sometimes hold in a different way - e.g. unworthiness does connect in some regards to the kind of "societal messaging" but in a different way: I *never really tried to live up to it* and instead spent my time *constantly debating against it* for years and years and years so as to form a sort of "split attitude" where I both would be hating the messaging and at the same time judging according to it. What does this do?

And another part: what does the absence or failure to occur of ecstatic experience do to the rest? Like if I am trying to do things like taking responsibility, acknowledging fault, not hiding from things, releasing feeling, etc. and it does seem to start creating benefit, but certain pieces like that are missing because they are not controllable and the non-controllable reasons for them have failed to materialize, where does that leave me? Where am I heading to? What do you do when in fact the map does not entirely describe you but also doesn't entirely not describe you either, and the places where mismatch occurs are places where that 99% of people *would* be matched by the map (like schooling)? What should people like that do? What does getting out of the root of "separability" look like in this life position? Where can I find out about how to deal with that?
